Practically, the pages of a book are projected on an interactive pulpit and the room walls are illuminated by color leds according to the passages of the book.

 

In doing so, Ambient Book links a thing of limited format – the book – with a wide sized space –the room-.

This enlargement dramatically increases the sensory impact of the book.

 

Ambient Book is also empowering the reader in a subtle manner: it is easy to manipulate a book and it’s more difficult to manipulate the overall atmosphere of a space in which we are.
